WHY I ADDED SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BOOSTS
Honest answer: I wanted to learn how to implement in-app purchases (IAPs) in a real app.
So I built subscriptions and boost packs as a learning exercise, shipped them, and watched what happened. It didn't sell a single subscription or boost pack. That was the clearest possible signal.
THE APP IS BETTER WITHOUT A CHECKOUT FLOW
Friend Aura is meant to be a private space—quick, clean, no friction. Whether you're tracking friends, memories, or using it as a simple body count app, the experience shouldn't be wrapped in purchase prompts and extra menus.
So I'm cutting the complexity.
